BEDA‘s latest series of safety quick shut valves passed several tests of 100.000 actuations, to ensure that these valves deliver what they need to deliver in the emergency case of backfire, oxygen explosion or slag return:
- Shut off the oxygen supply reliably
- Protect the operator from further harm
- Avoid further damage of precious installations
- Not feed any fire
